Social-Economic Effects and Political Satisfaction from Pedestrian Footbridges in Rural Areas

It is generally accepted that having a proper river crossing point has positive effect on rural inhabitants. Such points would increase the ability of communities to access their social services, markets, jobs, and thereby lead raising standard living. In line with this objective,Rwanda been promoting construction pedestrian footbridges in areas, different partners, have already constructed. very crucial all institutions involved footbridges, both public private, consider financial benefits some significant direct indirect effects communities.The Objective study was identify possible may be generated by understand potential range impacts areas likely responses from those people impacted project. The also proposed comprehensive approach for estimating economic footbridge areas. methodology community interviews conducted during site visits predict due lack availability safe via footbridges.
